What does every mammal on earth do after a night of slumber or even just a catnap? They Stretch. So many times we wake up with 1 eye open, listless and lethargic. If we learn from the animal kingdom and just take the time to warm up our muscles, get the blood pumping, and get our brains functioning we will more than likely start the morning with a higher level of energy and a more positive frame of mind. Going with our, “Less is More” approach, I will offer you several new stretches that you can do from your bed. As time goes on and you expand your knowledge of the movements, you can mix them up and do more or less as the day permits and choose whichever stretches you like most. The great thing about stretching is you can apply it any time, when you feel stressed, wish to get more into your moment, and even as you slip into the sheets at night. Just as a tidbit of information, for great results (You’re not going to want to do this, but do it anyway. LOL) Smile. Science has proven that smiling activates the happy hormones in your brain.
